All three laptops have their OEM HDD in them, windows 10 creators update, and bare bones programs/drivers installed in them. Unfortunately, I don't have any spare hard drives to test this theory out. The first is an HP laptop with a 1st gen i5-540m (8gb ram). This laptop runs like slow molasses compared to my two other older laptops from the very beginning of me purchasing it. I also have an HP laptop that comes with an i5-5200u, 6gb ram, 1tb HDD. I thought I was the only unlucky guy or something. The computer is generally slower than I feel it should be and has been since I got it.
